Hello, I'm Mili Herran, a recent graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a specialized focus in public relations as well as a minor in marketing and advertising. My academic journey is where I found my passion for effective communication and its role in shaping brands.

 

Currently, I am a working at a full-service public relations and marketing agency. In my role, I lead the public relations department, working with a diverse portfolio of beauty brands. This experience has allowed me to sharpen my skills and broaden my understanding of the role PR has between businesses and their audiences. My role includes writing press releases, managing social media platforms, collaborating with influencers, staying ahead of industry trends through media monitoring, and occasionally planning and executing events.

 

One of my interests lies in the realm of fashion. I have always had a love for fashion and have been fascinated by how these brands convey their identity to the public. As I grow in my career, my aspiration is to use my skills in public relations to assist fashion brands in narrating their own stories connecting with their followers.

My journey in this space began as a public relations intern at a clothing boutique. During this experience, I created engaging social media content, crafted press releases, developed media lists, and took part in event planning.
